After a long-exhaustive-frustrating process, we found the right manufacturer to help us produce our difficult-to-make products.

It is a four page story beginning on page 44. We are also featured in Guideposts – The Family Room section on page 65. The magazine has an estimated 5 million viewers and 1.7 million registered subscribers. www.guideposts.org
The story is about the pursuit of a solution for a beloved diabetic dog (Vinny) and an answer resulting in a breakthrough treatment for diabetic dogs. The company recently obtained a patent for their discovery and in-turn has a similar patent pending for people.

Both diabetic dogs and people often have similar difficulties in regulating their blood sugar levels. It is estimated that 1 in 160 dogs have this disease.
There is some good news! Progress has been made in the treatment of dogs with diabetes that may soon help treat people as well. Over the past 5 years a study treating diabetic dogs with a new formula yielded extremely positive data.
Vintek Nutrition’s patent pending formula, called Dia-Treaties®, is in the form of a tasty “chewable” that is given following each insulin injection. While the use of insulin is still required, clinical observations showed Dia-Treaties® decreased the amount of insulin needed ranging from 15% to 67%.
